Circuit breaker actuator cut-in spring tensioning device

The tensioning device has a spur gear train operated by an electric spring tensioning motor and by a manual tensioning shaft, with the last spur gearwheel (1) mounted on the cut-in shaft (5) via a free-running bearing. At the beginning of the cut-in spring tensioning, the cam (2) engaged by the spring and the cut-in shaft are both moved directly by the last spur gearwheel from a position outside the bottom dead centre position of the shaft, so that the cam rotates upwards. During the cut-in phase the last spur gearwheel is locked in position while the shaft moves through the bottom dead centre position due to the free-running bearing and the other spur gearwheels in the drive train.
