FIELD: fluorine production by middle temperature fluorine electrolyzer. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer has body 1, lid 11, gasses separating device 10, carbongraphitic anodes 3 with current conducting rods 4 and gasses carrying off canals on anodes surface, case-type jalousie cathode 9 and heat-exchanging system. Current conducting rods are protected from action of aggressive medium by magnesium bushes 5 and filling agent (powder of fluoric spar), that is located in ring-type clearance between bush and current-conducting rod. Butt matings of bush and anode plate are hermetically sealed by epoxy compound. Canals on anode surface are made with uniform increase of canal depth beginning from zero value in lower part of anode up to 0.8 - 1.0 % of its height in upper part. Jalousie of cathode jalousie case 9 are mounted at angle of 20 - 25 deg to the vertical. Butt edges of jalousie plates, that face anode, are cut at angle of 25 - 30 deg. Jalousie cases near bottom part has fixing crests. Gas distributing device 10 is mounted on flanges and is insulated from lid and body by dielectric gaskets. Bottom of body is covered with electrical insulating compound. EFFECT: improved design of fluorine electrolyzer. 3 cl, 3 dwg |
