FIELD: metallurgy, namely plants for metal continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes casting ladle, vacuum chamber with branch pipe mounted in bottom of vacuum chamber and introducing to working cavity of intermediate ladle, vacuum duct and casting nozzles mounted in bottom of intermediate ladle. Inner cavity of intermediate ladle is separated by three zones with use of partitions arranged symmetrically relative to branch pipe and having trapezoidal cross section with inclination angle of faces near base consisting 5-30 degrees. Distance between axis of partitions consists 0.4- 0.6 of spacing between axis of casting nozzles. EFFECT: enhanced quality of continuously cast ingots, increased efficiency of plant. |
