The liquid composite fertilizer (I) based on chitosan (II) is prepared by the steps of; (1) dissolving 50 parts of oyster shell powder in phosphoric acid 30 parts and (2) mixing (I) 20 parts with 20-80% (II) aqueous solution (III), or (3) mixing 20% ammonium phosphate with (III), or (4) mixing 20% potassium phosphate with (III). The fertilizer (I) inhibits the pathogens and supplies nutrients and is useful for Chinese cabbage cultivation.
