FIELD: electric equipment. SUBSTANCE: plug and socket unit has rectangular casing 1 with contact receiving parallel through openings 2 and members for mutual fixation of casings and/or unit on panel. Fixation members are made in the form of joining members 3, mating guides 4, flexible lug 5 and lug mating member 6. Each joining member has T-shaped part 7. Guides 4 formed as through channels 10 with longitudinal through recess 11 in conformance with T-shaped part are made in opposite side of casing 1. Walls 12,13 of through channels 10 facing one toward the other define at least a portion of contact part of opening 2. Flexible tab 5 is attached along side surface of casing 1 between joining members 3. Retaining projection 16 disposed adjacent to free end of tab 5 is faced outward. Mating member 6 engageable with projection 6 of tab 5 is positioned between guides 4. Retaining surface 17 of mating member 6 is oriented towards connecting members 14.
