FIELD: rocketry; solid propellant igniters. SUBSTANCE: ignition chamber has housing, power grains and electric primer. Provided in housing between powder grains and electric primer is partition. Circular expansion chamber mounted on outer surface of housing is brought into communication with chambers of electric primer and powder grains through radial holes provided in housing wall. EFFECT: enhanced stability of operation of ignition chamber due to avoidance of destruction of powder charge through absence of direct action of electric primer gases on grains of ignition charge. |
