Shock absorber with adjustable clamping force

The shock absorber (1) comprises a cylinder filled with a clamping medium, which guides a piston rod with a piston, which divides the cylinder into two working chambers. An axis-parallel clamping valve housing is located outside the cylinder. It has several pressure-dependent valves, with flow connection to both working chambers realised by controllable actuators. The pressure-dependent valves are located in separate valve chambers. The separating portion of the clamping valve system has separate flow connections between the valves and the actuators.
