The cylinder head has an elastic attachment formed as a sheet metal plate (7). This has a rigid connection to the cylinder head (4) and engine oil cooler (9) and a slot (11) between these connections. The connections are screws with preferably a first (3a) and second (3b) cylinder head screw as well as first (8a) and second (8b) oil cooler screws. The slot begins at the lower edge (10) of the plate and perpendicular to it, and between the second cylinder head screw and second oil cooler screw, and then runs in the direction of the centre of the plate but terminates before it.
