A synthetic, elastically stretchy yarn features a heat resistant elastomer support yarn, round which a melt adhesive yarn of a lower titre is twisted helically. The twisted yarn is made of polyamide formed through copolymerisation of a ternary blend of monomers and of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers.
