FIELD: veterinary microbiology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method of vaccine preparing against STREPTOCOCCUS in nutria. The strain Str. zooepidemicus is grown on meat-peptone broth with 1% glucose solution at 37-38 C for 18-24 h. To this time bacterial mass concentration must be 4 x 10m.k./1 ml, not less. Prepared cultural medium is subjected for freezing-thawing, liquid fractions were separated, inactivated with 0.3-0.4% formalin solution. After inactivation sterile adjuvant, 3% aluminium hydroxide solution, is added to bacterial mass. Prepared vaccine provides formation stable prolonged immunity. Epizootic effectiveness of vaccine is 98.4% of all vaccinated animals. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of vaccine. |
