METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CLEANING SHIP'S HULL

FIELD: ship-repairing. SUBSTANCE: cleaning the hull is effected by feeding the working medium under pressure. Ice crumb is used as working medium. Ice crumb is made by cooling the water jet followed by throttling in divergent nozzle. Device is provided (similarly to that in prototype) with set for feeding water which includes high-pressure unit and feeding apparatus connected by means of pipe line fitted with valves. Set is secured on movable base. Water is additionally fed to cooler connected in parallel with pile line fitted with valves. Feeding apparatus is made in form of divergent nozzle. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning at minimum power requirements and avoidance of pollution of environment. 3 cl, 1 dwg
