METHOD OF DIAMOND EXTRACTION FROM DIAMOND-CONTAINING RAW

FIELD: technology of diamond-containing raw processing. SUBSTANCE: method involves high temperature alkaline treatment, aqueous leaching of formed product, filtration and washing with water and acid treatment of alkaline cake. Before alkaline treatment parental material is calcined with addition of potassium chloride dry salt at 450-660 C for 3-6 hr. Alkaline treatment of obtained cinter is carried out using dry alkali taken at ratio (1-1.5):1 to cinter mass at 480-520 C for 30-60 min. Acid treatment of alkaline cake is carried out with sulfuric acid at its consumption 1.0-1.2 l/kg cake.
