Method of clamping cutters on cutting head

The method involves mounting several cutters (20) on a head using a special bolt (4). A ring-shaped piston (8), which fits around the outer bolt section, acts against a clamp plate (17) for the cutters. The clamping force is exerted by an hydraulic system with another bolt (31) which is screwed into the head of the first bolt (4). During tightening of that second bolt (31), the hydraulic fluid which exerts the clamping force, forces a piston (43) out against a stack of spring washers (45) so that the end of the piston rod (44) will move out to give the visual indication required.
