To create a coupling member for an articulated connection with a wiper arm and a control arm, providing an economical and operationally reliable connection with the widely used type of wiper blade wherein a fastening bolt extends transverse to the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade in a top-open region between the two mutually spaced, parallel lateral faces of the wiper blade saddle, the coupling member (10) has a one-piece base body with a back part (11) and a connection part (12) that projects out therefrom towards the windshield and that snaps onto the fastening bolt of the wiper blade saddle, and mounted to the back part (11) are mutually spaced connectors, in particular hinge bolts (15, 19) for an articulated fixture of the wiper arm and the control arm.
