The objective of the present invention is to provide a film end cutting method capable of stable transport and cutting of film ends, a film end cutting device, and a manufacturing method of an optical film. As a means to achieve the objective, in the film end cutting method and the film end cutting device, a transport process of making a film end (12a) cut in the transport direction of a film (12) which is continuously transported pass through a wind transport pipe (31) to transport the film end using wind and a cutting process of cutting the film end (12a) using a rotary cutter (32) which comprises a fixed blade (32a) and a rotating blade (32b) are included, and the wind transport pipe (31) includes an air suction hole (34) which generates wind in a direction of pushing the film end (12a) towards the fixed blade (32a). |
