摘要 The intake pipe sectors (12) closed by the valves (11) are arranged in two mutually spaced and parallel longitudinal rows (13,14). The inlet channels (2,3) of the in-line IC engine are each allocated one pipe of one row so as to form identical intake lengths for any one cylinder. In the case of a V-engine, one row of cylinders is allocated alternate pipes of one row (13) and the other row of cylinders are allocated respective pipes of the other row (14). Two pipes join in a common branch pipe and the valve-closed sectors are allotted to the short intake sectors. The inlet orifices (15) of the pipes or one row (14) lie in a plane parallel to that containing the inlets (16) of the other row pipes. The inlet orifices (17,18) of the longer intake pipes (L5) are arranged in two mutually parallel planes (E3,E4). These orifices are in turn allocated to the short pipes (K4) of the other row.
