Sacrificial shuttering for concrete supports and lintels

The shuttering has two boards (1), which are made from concrete, and are laid upright opposite one another. They are stabilised by a U-shaped steel mat (2) and steel bars (3), which are cast into the concrete. The mat remains free on the floor of the shuttering, and after pouring, acts as reinforcement. The shuttering may be in the form of angled connecting elements and may be shaped to make up different mitre joints.
