REACTIVE POWER DETECTOR FOR LOAD, WHICH POWER CHANGES ABRUPTLY, FOR CONTROL OF REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATOR

FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has multiplier of signals of phase current and voltage, which vector is orthogonal to voltage vector of corresponding phase. In addition device has circuit of suppression filters at output of multiplier, and phase corrector at detector output. Set of required number of smoothing-forcing units, which are designed as operational amplifier are introduced as phase correctors in order to increase amplitude-frequency response for given band for envelope of reactive power of load which power changes abruptly. Direct input of said operational amplifier is connected to common point through serial RC-circuit. It is also connected to output terminal of operational amplifier through parallel RC-circuit. Device may be used in arc steel furnaces. EFFECT: increased efficiency.
