FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: roasting sulfurous gas scrubbing is carried out in flow with dispersed system of alternating density. Their dispersed phase consists of dispersed sulfuric acid and dispersing phase consists of compressed air at volume ratio of dispersed phase to dispersing medium at the range 1:(2-3) in central flow part and 1:(1.5-1.9) in peripheral flow part. Volume ratio of total dispersed phase to the roasting sulfurous gas treated flow is maintained at the range 1:(100-500). Method can be used for roasting sulfurous gas scrubbing before its oxidation in sulfuric acid production, in mineral fertilizer making and other branches of chemical industry. EFFECT: decreased sulfurous gas moisture, simplified technology, excluding mist-formation of sulfuric acid. |
