FIELD: electric power converters. SUBSTANCE: magnetic circuit 1 of transformer has three separate rods 2, which are stacked up with laminations 3 which are trapezoid-shaped and are assembled as three-side frame. Rods 2 and laminations 3 are tied by covers 8, bolts 9 and nuts 10. Windings 4 are mounted on rods 2. Different claims of invention describes different shapes of laminations 3 as its basic members, they may be shaped as trapezoid with different sides, have holes. Magnetic circuits may be assembled as binding or butt joint. Windings may be mounted for relative movement by means of mechanism, which is connected to members for attaching laminations.
