The greenhouse has a combination of grid trusses and gable roof structures for a static construction with a single or multi-layered foil cover. The grid truss is set in the roof cap of a gable roof so that the useful height of the culture space is not reduced. The truss feet are Y-shaped in the gutter area and cropped in the eaves area to obtain maximum culture space. With a double-layered cover all the foils or only selected foils can be mechanically pre-tensioned. The other foil webs can be drawn in tension-free. The grid truss can be used as a console for a cleaning or snow-clearing carriage.
