Flash removal tool useful for moulded plastic and rubber components

The tool has: (a) a flash removal section of a metal wire cable (4) with the ends bonded together, generally coaxially at the circumference of the tool; and (b) a holder (5), which is secured to the tool shaft (6) which rotates the tool. The cable length is longer than it would be when tensed, so the cable section (4) is not under tension. The cable remains in place, along its line, but has radial flexibility to move outwards under centrifugal force when the tool rotates to form a curved line to strike the flash when the tool is moved over the component surface.
