A package for pourable material, such as liquids or fine granulates, consists of an inner, blow-molded hollow plastic body to hold the material for packaging, with a neck-like reclosable outlet, and of a sleeve-like cardboard case surrounding and shape-mated to the hollow plastic body, the latter having for this purpose at least one indentation at an outer edge, to which there is a corresponding prepunched region of the cardboard case that folds inwards to provide a catch upon assembly. The invention aims to improve this type of package so that the amount of plastic can be further reduced without impairing the dimensional stability of the composite packaging and the blow-molding process can be further simplified. This is accomplished in that the hollow plastic body (2) has a completely thin-walled design and the cardboard case (3) is closed so as to create in the head region a shape-mated lie on the head (5) of the hollow plastic body (2), with a through aperture (12) for the neck-like outlet (6).
