FIELD: materials handling and transportation. SUBSTANCE: folding container is transportable structure consisting of base, row of carrying members in form of uprights arranged on container base and rod of walls, each being installed for turning from working, mainly vertical position, into folded up, mainly horizontal position, when walls are placed one on the other on container base. Walls have upper, lower and side faces passing between outer and inner surfaces, inner surface of walls being located closer to base than outer surface, with container folded up. Side faces of adjacent walls thrust (contact) against inner surfaces of outer wall of container when it is in operating (vertical) position. Hinge joint has axle passing between wall and corresponding upright. Axle of hinge joint is installed for rotation in wall or in upright, or in both these members. Axle of joint is located on side face closer to inner side of wall than to outer side, and closer to its lower face than to upper face. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 18 cl, 9 dwg |
