FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting horizontal soil layer in horizontal plane prior to separating main layer; while lifting the whole of layer, laying upper layer into the same furrow; turning lower soil layer and laying into adjacent furrow. Plow has frame with plow bodies mounted on frame. Each plow body is provided with horizontal cutter which may be regulated in vertical plane and fixed on side adjacent to landward plow edge. Horizontal cutter undercuts upper soil layer which is further worked by subsequent plow body. Moldboards have upper edges through which upper soil layer comes off. Baffles on moldboards are adapted to guide and lay upper soil layer into its own furrow. EFFECT: simplified plowing process and plow construction, reduced metal usage and power consumption and improved plowing quality by deep and complete covering of plant remains. 3 cl, 2 dwg |
