STORAGE CONSTRUCTION METHOD AND STORAGE

FIELD: storage of agricultural products. SUBSTANCE: method involves making start trenches in ground at sides of storage base, with storage being provided with ventilation system and heat-protective covering; laying off horizontal wells between start trenches by means of pneumatic punches; freezing-through ground adjoining to base by supplying cold air through wells in case of negative temperature outside the storage; isolating trenches from ambient air in case of positive temperature outside the storage. Trenches may be arranged in several rows through storage depth. Storage ventilation system has blowing and extract chambers positioned at foundation pit ends with start trenches. Horizontal wells are extending between start trenches in ground around foundation pit. Heat-insulating storage layer may have arched cover slabs with longitudinal openings connecting blowing and extract chambers. Freezing- through depth of ground around storage is determined by expression Δ=(n+1)Δ+nd, where Δis natural freezing-through depth of ground about storage; d is well diameter; n is number of well rows. EFFECT: prolonged storage time and provision for adequate microclimate.
