Imaging system for wide electromagnetic radiation spectral range

The imaging system has an image reception plate with an electron emitting cathode (2), a gate (4) for controlling the electron current and an anode (5) receiving electrons reflected by a photoconductive layer (6). The cathode, the gate and the anode are provided by vacuum microelectronic components arranged adjacent one another and switch on and off in successive rows or columns in synchronism with a monitor image. Pref. the photoconductive layer has an increased photoeffect in a required spectral range.
