Toy single-rail system with mounting arrangement

The device includes at least one toy vehicle (13), a single rail track (40) and a holding device. The latter is provided on the track (40) to releasably hold the vehicle (13). The appts. also includes a device for supporting the track (40). The track (40) has a perpendicular extension and a number of guide rails. The vehicle has at least one driven wheel which engages with part of the track (40). The driven wheel can be attached to a first side of the perpendicular section. The vehicle has at least one guide wheel. This comes into engagement with a perpendicular section of the perpendicular extension and thereby prevents the vehicle (13) from tipping off the track (40). The vehicle may be a figure, e.g. Santa Claus, and the rail system may be attached to a christmas tree.
