摘要 |
FIELD: quantum electronics; solid-state rods of lasers operating both in continuous and pulsed modes. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, monocrystalline laser rod is made of high-temperature composite oxide material that has metal ions in surface layer and is characterized in that metal ions are those of indium or bismuth. Its manufacturing process involves mechanical and thermochemical treatment of rod in metal oxide powder; after mechanical treatment and before thermochemical treatment in metal oxide it is subjected to additional thermochemical treatment in two stages; during first stage, laser rod is dipped in powder mixture of indium molybdate with aluminium oxide in the following proportion, mass percent: In(MoO)-30-90; AlO- 10-70, followed by its heating to 900-1200 C; during second stage, rod is immersed in saturated alkali solution and boiled for 15-25 min, then subjected to thermochemical treatment in metal oxide powder where indium or bismuth oxide is used at temperature of 700-800 C for bismuth oxide and 1400-1450 C for indium oxide. EFFECT: improved stability to ultraviolet radiation of pump lamp and improved efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg |
