The sensor system evaluates the differential pressure ( DELTA p) between two sections (2,4) or between the inside and the outside of a vessel (1). The pressure sensor (6) is arranged in the horizontal part of the tubular vessel, and is acted on both of these sides by approximately the same amount of liquid. The horizontal part is linked to two vertical end parts (3,5). The differential pressure at the sensor between the fluid portions of the two sections, resulting in a deviation of the horizontal part from the horizontal position is measured, to provide an indication of inclination.
