The ice cream (16) has a container (10) with which it can be held, and which can be compressed in order to expel a sauce preparation. It also has a guide (12) to feed the expelled sauce to an outlet (14) in the region of the ice cream, and a collecting region (18) in order to prevent the sauce from dripping off. The container may be a collapsible bellows, and may be connected to a tube (12) for guiding sauce to the top of a cone-shaped ice cream. The collecting region may be formed by a groove (18), which has a roughly V-shaped cross section, and surrounds the base of the ice cream.
