Winding of short sample warps

摘要

Short warps, esp. for making samples, have single yarns of different or the same colour wound successively in single layers side by side on a winding surface (9). At the head end (8), a yarn guide (4) wraps the yarn while a forwarding arrangement (16) advances the wraps by one yarn thickness for each turn of the yarn guide (4). The continuous layers are finally cut to provide the warp. The first single yarn is wound on a support surface (11) which projects from the winding surface (9) and which is moved at right angles to the winding plane towards the head end (8). Also claimed is an appts. for winding short sample warps.
