The ridge beam consists of hollow members (1) formed by at least three edges (a,c,d). They are connected to an inner profiled piece (3) by at least one edge (f) closing the formed hollow member. The hollow members, by their centre section, form a recess (6). The horizontal parts of the inner profiled pieces form the seating surface for the horizontal guide of the goods protective walls.
