The invention relates to a separating roller which is mounted in a harvester for processing the harvested goods. A harvest-processing harvester has at least cutting, conveyor and processing means for processing the harvest and forming at mat made of the harvested goods. The mat leaves the machine at the end of a processing device. A device having at least one roller (1) is arranged at one end area of the processing device to separate the mat that leaves the processing device from the processing device. In order to improve the roller so that it is easier to produce and to replace, or so that parts thereof are easier to produce and to replace, the roller has a base body (5) mounted so as to revolve around its longitudinal axis. Means (7) for separating the mat from the processing device are arranged on the base body (5).
