摘要 FIELD: machining of polyhedral parquet blocks. SUBSTANCE: method for machining of polyhedral parquet blocks differs from the known one by the following features: accurate cylindrical blank is efficiently prepared from chock convenient for basing in subsequent machining operations; the initial blank is cut in continuous cycle into single blanks with inclination of all elements of machining to horizontal plane at angle of &alpha;< 90 deg that guarantees the constant position of blank in prismatic base planes and precludes shocks of blank against stop plane in displacement of blank under gravity; calibration in original manner of end face planes of parquet blocks, for which purpose, used in addition to front and rear base planes are intermediate base planes located inside the circular cutters to provide for high accuracy in continuous cycle of machining without rigid fastening of handled blank; fastening of individual blank by end faces and moving, also in continuous cycle, between several couples of cutting surfaces rotating on the same axle, and after making two opposite faces on the blank periphery, its turning and machining by the next couple of cutting surfaces of next pair of opposite faces on blank periphery. This manner is used to machine parquet block with any number of even or odd faces on their periphery. The offered method as distinct from the known one allows accurate and efficient machining in continuous cycle of parquet and other blocks of any sizes, shapes and configurations. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
