FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: apparatus having working chamber with input slots and output slots, filled by abrasive powder, mechanism for feeding powder into that chamber, mechanism for compacting powder arranged inside that chamber and being in the form of at least two opposite blades arranged respectively at both sides of plane of strip motion and having means for their synchronous mutually opposite reversing motion. Blades have working width more than width of strip being descaled. Highly elastic gaskets are secured to lateral edges of blades at their inner side turned to strip. Elasticity of gaskets is more than maximum stroke of blades. Gaskets arranged mutually opposite rest one upon another in pairs at any position of blades for completely closing lateral spacing between blades. Width of each blade is /2-b/=(10-30)mm. Gaskets are made of porolon and they are secured to blades by adhesive. EFFECT: enhanced quality of strip descaling. 3 cl, 3 dwg |
