FIELD: aerators for artificial aeration of wort. SUBSTANCE: aerator for artificial aeration of wort is used in brewing for attaining the required concentration of oxygen by supply to wort feed pipeline of significant excess of air in finely dispersed state to materially affect the process of fermentation and main fermentation. Aerator is installed on the horizontal straight section of pipeline supplying wort just after cooler. Aerator has streamlined air sprayer which consists of parts including cermet filter element in form of bushing. Sprayer is accommodated inside the wort supplying pipeline furnished with sight glass. Aerator also has device, which prevents wort from penetration into air pipeline, made in form of spring-loaded check valve and provided with dial indicator to determine, in relative measurement, the flow rate of air supplied to wort supply pipeline in the process of aeration.
