The polyphase multipolar stepping motor comprises a permanent magnet rotor with N pairs of poles distributed about a central axis, and magnetised in a direction parallel to this axis. A magnetic stator circuit is provided comprising several phases. Each phase is formed with an exterior pole piece and an interior pole piece extending in the same plane perpendicular to the axis. The exterior pole piece comprises a first toothed region with the tooth step size equal to 2 /N, and a second outer toothed region with a tooth step size equal to 2 /2N. The interior pole piece has a tooth step size equal to 2 /N, and is interlaced with the first toothed region of the exterior pole piece. |
