The drip feed has a chamber (1) with an inlet (2) and outlet (3), and a pipe which connects the outlet (2) to a source (5) of medical fluid. A tube (6) is connected into the outlet (3). The system uses a support (8) comprising a mounting (9) with a base (10), which is fixed by an end (11) to the mounting (9) so that the base forms an 'L'. A support (13) holds the chamber (1) to the support (8) and a screwed grip (14) holds the tube (6) against the base (10) to vary its section. A level detector (50) monitors the level (59) of the fluid in the chamber.
