ANSWERING MACHINE FOR VIDEOPHONE WITH VCR

The answering machine for videophone using VCR comprises: a signal processing unit of a video phone(1) for transforming compressed digital video/audio input signals to analog output signals after uncompressing them, or producing output signals by transforming analog video/audio input signals to compressed-digitized signals; a sensor unit of the video phone system(1) for sensing a ring signal from the signal process unit(13); a VCR input unit(22) for recording the analog signal from video/audio outputs(14,15) to a magnetic tape; a VCR output unit(21) for sending analog video/audio signals of the magnetic tape to the signal processing unit through the video/audio input units(11,12); and a MICOM(23) of the VCR(2) for operating the VCR according to the ring signal from a sensing unit(16).
