PURPOSE: To draw a good-looking segment irrelevantly to the length of the segment by interpolating the best dots for the connection part which are drawn to specific segment width or segment end parts of the segments having the specific segment width. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 201 retrieves drawing control information in an interpolation information ROM table 202A on the basis of a combination of segment drawing directions of segments. Then the CPU 201 draws interpolation dots at the connection part of the segments having the specific segment width which are expanded on a paint memory 204 by referring to the retrieved drawing control information and interpolates defective dots at the segment connection part by interference between the segments to draw the good-looking segment formed by connecting the segments. Further, it is made possible to draw interpolation dots for interpolating defective dots generated at the connection part of the segments and the end parts of the segments with a small amount of data. |
