PURPOSE: To obtain a heat exchange unit with a side panel less apt to be damaged by a method wherein the side panel is made of a synthetic resin material while being provided with a rib and the rib is placed on a bottom plate in a heat exchange unit which has a refrigerating part arranged in a casing body composed of the side panel, the bottom plate and the like. CONSTITUTION: In an outdoor unit (heat exchange unit) 1, a casing body is constituted of a metal top board 2, a metal rear plate 3 integrated with a side plate part 3A, a front plate (side panel) 4 made of a synthetic resin and a metal bottom plate 5. The front plate 4 is formed by injection molding using a synthetic resin material and a rib 4A is made to stick out on the rear side. The rib 4A has a gas channel part 4C formed inside to make a small pit called sink less apt to generate on the surface of the front plate 4. The lower end part of the rib 4A is placed on a rising part 5A in the perimeter of the bottom plate 5. |
