<p>PURPOSE: To provide a plant monitor and control system which enables the training of manipulating operation in parallel to monitor control over other processes in operation without replacing the program of a process controller and secures the continuity of the operation of the system and is short in the time of switching to a redundant system in case of a device fault. CONSTITUTION: Plural process controllers 5A-5D which input and output signals to and from corresponding processes 7A-7C are placed in redundant constitution wherein at least one controller is used as a stand-by system; and a process simulator 9 which simulates the processes is provided and a signal switching device 8 connects the process simulator to the process controller 5D as the stand-by system which is made redundant among the process controllers.</p> |
