<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a color toner excellent in removability, low-temp. fixability, anti-offsetting property and pulverizability and to form a fixed image in which an entry can be made with writing utensils on the surface of a transfer body with the color toner. CONSTITUTION: This toner contains a colorant and a bonding resin consisting of two kinds of polyesters. The weight ratio between the 1st and 2nd polyesters is 70:30 to 30:70. The 1st polyester has a number average mol.wt. of 3,500 to <5,000, a wt. average mol.wt. of 10,000 to <100,000, 90-130 deg.C softening point and 60-75 deg.C glass transition temp. and contains <=10% THF-insoluble component. The 2nd polyester has a number average mol.wt. of 2,500 to <3,500, a wt. average mol.wt. of 8,000 to <50,000, 90-130 deg.C softening point and 60-75 deg.C glass transition temp. When development and fixation are carried out using this toner, a releasing agent is applied to a heating roll so that the amt. of the releasing agent transferred to a transfer body is regulated to 2.0×10<-6> -2.0×10<-5> g/cm<2> .</p> |
