PURPOSE: To prevent the deflection or creak of treads on ascending and descending, by fitting a riser in a tenon at the front side of the underface of a tread and fitting a horizontal flap of a reinforcing metal piece having a vertical flap and the horizontal flap breadthwise. CONSTITUTION: A tenon 11a is provided on the rear face of the front side of the under face of a tread 11 and the upper end 12a of the riser 12 is fitted in the tenon 11a to assemble the treads 11 and the risers of a stairs 10. In this time, the horizontal flap 13b of a L-shaped reinforcing metal piece 13 is fixed to the underface of the tread 11 positioned a little deeper than the tenon 11a with nails. And a reinforcing metal piece 13 is fixed to the almost full width of the stairs 10 to prevent the deflection or the creak of the treads 11 on ascending and descending. And a U-shaped non-slip material is stuck to the end of treads extending from the upper face end of the front side of the treads 11 to the rear side, at the outside of tenon-mortise connection part to secure safety on ascending and descending. |
