PURPOSE: To divide a decoration material of a column to use light decoration units and simplify the construction works and reduce man-hours, by fitting pins to fitting holes and connected to each other, which are arranged on respective overlapped faces of decoration unit bodies vertically stacked up. CONSTITUTION: A decoration material 3 for a column is divided into a plurality of low decoration unit bodies 4 to lighten it so as to carry them with hands. Required number of the low decoration unit bodies 4 is prepared for columns 2 having respective different heights. The pins 7 arranged in one of vertically stacked decoration unit bodies 4 are connected to the fitting holes arranged in the other one and securely fixed to each other without use of nails. When one of the exterior panel 5 or the substrate material 6 of the unit body 4 is made higher than the other one at the upper end and the other one is made lower at the lower end, the precise superposing work is facilitated. In this case, recessions 14 and protrusions 15 are arranged on the exterior panel 5 and the substrate material 6 respectively and the unit bodies 4, 4 are assembled together by the fitting of these recessions 14 and protrusions 15. |
