WIND VELOCITY PREDICTION METHOD AND TRAFFIC MEANS OPERATING METHOD BASED THEREON

PURPOSE: To obtain a method for allowing, even a person having no knowledge or experience about the weather, to predict the wind velocity value accurately and easily both for a wide zone and a local zone. CONSTITUTION: An actually measured wind velocity data 1 is read out and a maximum envelope data 2 thereof is determined. A trend model 3 is then derived from the maximum envelope data 2 and a trend component data 4 is derived using the trend model 3. Subsequently, an actual fluctuation component data 5 is determined based on the trend component data and the maximum envelope data and a fluctuation model 6 is derived from the actual fluctuation component data. Finally, a wind velocity prediction model 7 is determined using the trend model and the fluctuation model and a predicted wind value 8 is calculated by substituting a future time in the wind velocity prediction model.
