PURPOSE: To prevent the main part of UNIX from easily being started even in a computer system using UNIX by supplying power to a main control part when an ID code which is previously set in an ID card control part is matched with an ID code inputted from an ID card reader. CONSTITUTION: When a power supply switch 17 is operated by a user, current is supplied to the ID card control part 11 and an ID card reader 23 via a card control part power source 19, and the insertion of the ID card 25 into the ID card reader 23 is permitted. When the ID card 25 is inserted into the ID card reader 23, the ID code is inputted to the ID card control part 11, and it is compared with the ID code which is previously set in the ID card control part 11. When the both codes are matched, a use permission signal is outputted to a switch 21. Then, current is supplied to a main control part 7 via a main power source 15, UNIX is started and a work station can be used by closing the switch 21. |
