METHOD FOR COLLATING PROLONGED SOUND READING

PURPOSE: To correctly judge the same word with different reading by absorbing the swing of reading by means of the prolonged sound of a word in Japanese. CONSTITUTION: A prolonged sound judging part 10 segments the characters of prolonged reading 1 one by one and judges whether or not sound is the prolonged one. The character which is not prolonged sound is transmitted to a collating part 60 as it is. A column judging part 20 decides the column of a-i-u-e-o of the character immediately before the prolonged sound when the character is judged to be prolonged sound. An e-column replacing part 30 replaces prolonged sound with 'i' when the character immediately before is the e-column one, an o-column replacing part 40 replaces prolonged sound with 'u' and a same vowel replacing part 50 replaces prolonged sound with the same vowel as the character immediately before. The collating part 60 collates the character except the prolonged sound of prolonged sound reading 1 with the character at the same position of general reading 2 as it is, collates prolonged sound in a same way with the character after replacement as an object and outputs collation success as a collation result 3 only at the time of whole coincidence.
