CONSTITUTION: When a synchronizing signal is not communicated through a synchronous communication path 107, the state is detected by a communication detection means 105, and a control means 106 suppresses the transmission of a cell through a 1st communication path at a fixed bit rate to an asynchronous communication path 101. As a result, a transmission band of a 2nd communication path making variable bit rate communication is sufficiently reserved and the efficiency of the asynchronous communication path 101 is improved.</p> |
